MADRID for a day

Hola,

This post is a little over due, but hey, I had midterms. I went to Madrid two weeks ago with my friend Arantza and her Dad. They live in Vitoria, Spain and were down in Madrid for a basketball tournament. This is our adventure:

We spent much of the day wandering around the city. It was a great time. I really enjoyed speaking spanish the entire time with them. It was really good practice and it gave me a lot of confidence in my ability to communicate in spanish.
There were so many street performers in Madrid, this was our favorite, so we stopped and took some pictures. This is Arantza's Dad.
Arantza.
Me... ...Duh!
This was just one of the many promotional things set up near the basketball stadium. It was really cool! This one rotated in a circle and the person in the middle still had to shoot baskets.
Arantza's Dad and me infront of the basketball stadium.

They had cows all over the city. This was one of my favorite.
I wasn't ready HEY! If you look close you can see yellow fish.
We stopped at this traveling exhibit of statues. I think normally they are in Paris. This was really fun to goof around with.
This was the most famous of the collection. Do you recognize it?
This is a wall of a building covered in plants! Cool huh?
What is wrong, no pasa nada! (no worries)
Museo del Prado
I think this is Plaza de Espana, it is huge.
Arantza you got in the way, haha. Isn't it beautiful?

The Metro of Madrid.
A typical Metro sign with the setting sun, Madrid is so romantic, haha.
What is wrong with this cow?
Until Next Time,
