A bus, 2 metros, a plane, a bus, a train, and another bus to get to Cadaques

Hola,

I didn't realize it had been so long since my last post. Sorry about that.

Well a while back I was going to Barcelona for the weekend, but I was flying into Girona, about an hour or so north of the city. When I told my host family this they told me I had to visit Cadaques, a beautiful coastal city that was famous for having the house of Salvador Dali. So I decided to go. Wow it was a lot of traveling to get there. More than I was expecting but it was beautiful and worth it.

The train station in Figueres.
A plaza in Figueres as well. The trees were really strange looking.
The last bus ride was the best! I went over some mountains that were part of a national park.
And finally I'm in Cadaques.
Oh, the white washed buildings and the Mediterranean Sea!
I went for a walk along the coast, and wow, the view was worth it.
The color of the water was beautiful.
It was so windy! This was the best picture that I was able to get. The winds were actually hurricane fource.
Oh The beach! Not one that I would recommend laying out on, but beautiful still.

The cliffs nearby were fun to explore.
This church has a very different style compared to most churches in Spain.
Since when do trees grow out of boats?
The house of Salvador Dali, and the reason I went to Cadaques. It was closed. Oh well.

Cadaques was a beautiful fishing village. I enjoyed a very relaxing afternoon.
Until Next Time,
