Video of the Week - "When I Grow Up"

This week I have chosen "When I Grow Up" by Fever Ray, aka: Karin Dreijer Andersson. Recently I went to see the movie Red Riding Hood, which was excellent. Two of the tracks, "The Wolf" and "Keep the Streets Empty for Me" by Fever Ray, are part of an awesome sound track that takes the movie to another level. I had heard Andersson's vocals first in Royskopp's "What Else is There?" and thoroughly admire her style. This lead me to research Andersson and is when I discovered The Knife, a duo band of Andersson and her brother, and her solo album Fever Ray. The video is excellent, showcasing a woman, a model, in non-traditional attire. As far as I can tell, Andersson does not appear in this video, which is common for this artist who in past performances has typically worn a mask and sent someone on her behalf to receive awards at award shows. Great music! Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4F-CpE73o2M Until Next Time,
