European Adventure

Hey!
So I am done with my Junior year of college. I'm a SENIOR!

So what am I going to do now you ask? Your thinking: the semesters over, yes it is. Your thinking: you've seen a lot of Spain, yes I have. Your thinking: what could he possibly do now? Well I'll tell you. I am heading out on what I am calling my European Adventure.

I am starting by visiting my friend Arantza in Vitoria, Spain. Then I am going to do part of the Camino de Santiago. Its a religious pilgrimage with paths that go all over Europe with the same common end point of Santiago, Spain. I am starting just on the other side of the France-Spain border in France. I'm planning on walking through part of the Pyrenees, through the cities of Pamplona, Spain, Logrono, Spain, and hopefully Burgos, Spain. The Camino will pass through many small towns and that will be exciting to see. I'm not planning on going all of the way to Santiago, because that would take about a month.

After the Camino I really get going on my adventure. I head to Frankfurt, Germany where I meet up with my friend Isabel and spend about a week with her. I'm not sure what the plan is yet, but I know that she has a car and that we will be driving a bit. I'm excited to ride on the Autobahn. After Frankfurt I head to Berlin, Germany, then to Stockholm, Sweden, then to Helsinki, Finland (well hopefully, I have to take a ferry and won't buy my ticket until I arrive), then to Bratislava, Slovakia, then to Budapest Hungary (hopefully as well, depends on trains), then to Graz, Austria where I will visit with my friend Leeshy. After Graz I head to Prague, Czech Republic, then to Paris, France where I will meet up with my parents for a little over a week, and then I head to Madrid, Spain.

I'm not sure where I will go afterwords or what my final plans will be. This trip looks like it will be quite an adventure! I'm really excited about the prospect of seeing so much of Europe. I will probably not upload photos again for a while. I will hopefully check in once and a while if I am able to find cheap or free internet. Well that is all for now.

Until Next Time,
